Just want to point out that my right arm is not fat, i repeat n..o..t fat. I totally just noticed how weird it looks in the second picture below. Anyway life goes on. Tonight I went to a clothes swap party with the lovely Pariss. For those that do not know what a clothes swap party is, you take along your unwanted items and swap with your girlfriends until your heart is content. You can pick up some real treasures. Pariss got a real steal, a cute fur vest. I got myself some bardot shorts, white mini dress and beret. If you have never been to a clothes swap or held one yourself, do it. And invite me :) I always have things to trade.

Weekend was looking up, but I just saw the weather on the news, weekend just went down. Thinking about going to melbourne with Tim in uni holidays in June/July. Can anyone please inform me on the shops to hit. I am after some vintage treasures.

I counted 7 lace items in my wardrobe, it didn't stop me from buying another one. I just love the colour of this one. I wore it with my sass high waisted black shorts and betts studded sandals. So I have been wondering why I have completely lost my passion for blogging. Uni? Social life too big? No. I simply put down the paint brush for too long. Painting and drawing simply opens up something inside of you. You will understand what I'm talking about if you too are an artist. Otherwise I'm probably just sounding strange to you. Well I can thank uni for getting me back into the artistic swing. As I sit here listening to 50 most essential pieces of classical music, I upload a couple of pictures of my work. I am to complete some simply sketches for my illustration which will be done on the computer maybe next month. Included in some pictures you will see are just some of my side work for fun. Entertaining ‘I’ Generation

The radio would be switched on in the main living room and the entire family, including friends and relatives would crowd around the radio, or should I say wireless, and be entertained for hours. In this digital age the once unified social intake of media is long gone. Today, all media is consumed in an exclusive setting. Dr Leong (2010) explains that it’s not the technology that is the hit, but it’s what is circulating around it. And it’s those things that determine our social acceptability. Looking at this ‘I’ generation, it’s not hard to see that we are all living on planet iPod. Levy (2006, p. 21) observes how music on one’s iPod affects status. He goes on to say that, ‘it is the portability of the iPod that comes from exposing an iPod screen to an observer making the otherwise private device a potential broadcaster of one’s taste.’ Our musical selection, thought to be for personal enjoyment is potentially more important than gender or geography and allows us to be read like a book. McLuhan (1965, p. 8) sums up this new media phenomenon into ‘the medium is the message’. It is not the machine, but what we do with the machine that is the message. Remember new media is more than just entertainment; it is an extension of ourselves!

Well 2010 is in full swing. Can't blog on anything too exciting for this year just yet. All I can say is I am so excited to start my fashion subjects this year at uni. Bring it on. But to open up my first blog in a very long time I thought I would keep it simple with a few pictures. These were taken on valentines day which also shares my mothers birthday. If you have not eaten break feast at allure in paddington, its a definite must. Order the hash browns, they are in a ball shape filled with potato and feta. yuumm. My sass and bide high waisted shorts went a treat with my new top and hat. Check out my sisters top, awesome shoulders!

Possibly the most relaxing day ever. I have spent the entire day devouring cake, swimming and drawing. Not to mention the quick op-shop stop this morning where I picked up two gorgeous clutches and some crazy vase. With all this time on my hands I have been thinking about what I want from my boyfriend for Christmas. I rudely interrupted his day at work to let him know that I have decided upon a piglet! In a land of paradise and killing credit cards

I spent two amazing months in London, (minus three weeks which were spent all over Europe) and I cannot believe that it has been 11 months since I have been back, time flies. I can honestly say that not one day went by when I didn't peak into a boutique or (embarrassingly) spend 7 hours in Top shop and Prime ark. It was a land of paradise and a land of killing my credit card. I told dad my credit card was for emergencies only. But somehow i convinced myself that, that fur vest and vintage leather cape were absolute emergencies! Well here is to one of my all time favourite fashion outlets in Europe... ZARA

I am such a terrible blogger. Please forgive me, I feel like I haven't inspired anyone or even myself for that matter for too long. I have been stuck on this computer writing about public relations theories and it's killing me. So I have jumped on for my 'study break' to quickly pop up a few pictures. Aren't the Olsen twins just superb.

Ps. My boyfriend bought me ducks. They're so adorable, little yellow and fluffy. And they amuse me when I feel like I can squeeze out a tear because uni is horrid.

I feel so repetitious when I say this, but I am over loaded with uni work this week, as usual I have left everything to the absolute last minute. But I actually can't believe I am not the slightest bit worried or stressed. Why oh why do fashion blogs and eBay seem to snare me from my duties!? Maybe I should start praying for a bit of stress then I might become more motivated. Anyway, again to make another excuse not to write a very long essay on public relations theories (not to mention, I have no idea what I am talking about) I decided it was time to pull out all those pieces in my wardrobe that still had their price tag on or were next to new. I came across these shoes, I completely forgot I was the proud owner of these little things. I remember I found them in the cutest boutique, they were the only ones and a perfect fit! I am all about bows and frills so I could not leave these behind for someone elses feet. I know you must be wondering why my excitement for these shoes hasn't led me to wearing them to death. Well that's a good question, I actually have no idea either.

To do list for this weekend... wear these shoes!

…welcome to Cue Modus.

I didn’t think that my first blogging experience would be done in a great amount of pain, but it is. I can tell you there is absolutely nothing attractive about having your wisdom teeth out. I have an ice pack strapped around my head and for the past couple of days I have indulged in all sorts of pureed foods. yumm (not). But I must say there is something sort of refreshing about having your boyfriend wait on you hand and foot, is that wrong?

With all the time in the world, I believe that there is no greater time to start writing and inspiring you about the things that rule my world. Cue Modus (forward fashion) is a heading of a world that ignites a lust for cutting edge fashion. I am constantly examining the fine pieces sculpted by hundreds of designers and so I hope that what inspires me in this lunatic world can equally inspire you.
